Biography:
Dr. Mahmoud Ahmad Al-Khasawneh is an Associate Professor in Artificial Intelligence & Big Data at Skyline University College, Sharjah, UAE. With over a decade of academic experience spanning Malaysia and the UAE, Dr. Al-Khasawneh has established himself as a prolific researcher in AI, cybersecurity, and distributed systems. He has authored 60+ peer-reviewed publications in high-impact journals including IEEE Access, IEEE Transactions on Consumer Electronics, Gondwana Research, and Sensors, and holds six German patents in IoT, AI-powered healthcare, blockchain security, and smart agriculture systems. Dr. Al-Khasawneh currently serves as Discipline Leader for the Bachelor of Information Technology program and has played pivotal roles in ABET accreditation and curriculum development for software engineering and AI programs. He is a frequent keynote speaker at international conferences and serves as editor for multiple book series and volumes with leading publishers including Elsevier, Springer, Wiley, and CRC Press. He is a professional member of IEEE, IAENG, and the Malaysia Board of Technologists.
